Representatives of the SPOLU coalition and the Pirates and Starostové coalition are ready to take over the government. They are aware of the seriousness of the situation and the problems that need to be addressed immediately. The Czech Republic needs a government with confidence. At tomorrow's meeting with President Miloš Zeman, the ODS leader will present the next steps and the names of future ministers.
"We are ready to take immediate responsibility for the government in the Czech Republic. We are in a very serious situation. That is why we need a government that is backed by a majority in the Chamber of Deputies and will govern with confidence. We have worked very hard since the elections and now we have everything in place. Thus, tomorrow I will inform President Miloš Zeman about the whole situation and submit to him a proposal for the members of the future government. I believe that the President sees the situation in the same way as we do," said ODS Chairman Petr Fiala.
"I am glad that everything has been successfully negotiated and we are ready to enter government. During today's meeting it was confirmed once again that there is a consensus among us. The Czech Republic needs a stable government that could be formed in a matter of days, but it depends on the President. I believe that we will finally see a change," said Marian Jurečka, chairman of the KDU-ČSL.
