A surgeon and Vsetín city council member whose life and professional career are dedicated to caring for others. He began his journey as an active student who participated in the events of November 1989. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, he began working as a surgeon at hospitals in Valašské Meziříčí and Vsetín. He has been active in local politics for more than 25 years. From 2016 to 2024, he also served as a regional councilor for the Zlín Region, where he helped eliminate more than 400 million crowns in hospital debt. In 2021, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies representing the Zlín Region on the SPOLU ticket, and he was re-elected in 2025. In the Chamber of Deputies, he served on the Health Committee and the Economic Committee with the aim of improving the accessibility and quality of healthcare. “I know that health is a top priority for all of us, which is why I propose specific measures that would increase the availability of healthcare services for all citizens of our region,” he says. He also considers it important to support local entrepreneurs and attract major investors, which will contribute to job creation and improve the economic situation in the Zlín Region. He is married and, with his wife Dana, is raising a daughter and three sons. “Family is a fundamental value for me, and I would like to ensure that our children have diverse opportunities and a bright future. With your support, I want to work toward a region where healthcare is accessible to everyone and where entrepreneurs have a favorable environment for growth,” he adds.
