Benjamin Činčila

First Vice Chairman of KDU-ČSL, MP

A boy from a small village, but from a large family. It was his family that shaped him the most—his family, his faith in God, and, of course, hockey. A sport that taught him that without fairness, discipline, and teamwork, you can’t win. And according to him, these values don’t just belong on the ice or at home—they also belong in public life and in politics. At the Congress in Ostrava 2026, he was elected First Vice Chairman of the party.

In the past, he headed the strategic department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, where he contributed to pension reform, benefits reform, digitization, and other key changes. In the 2025 parliamentary elections, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies. He also has experience in international business (KPMG) and public administration (Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation). He is convinced that the state should help people, not hinder them. And that we must stop squandering the future—so that resources remain for what matters and for those who truly need them. As an economist and a member of the Christian Democratic Party, he believes in responsible investment: in families, education, infrastructure, and the countryside.

He is a young man who hopes to start a family one day and raise his children in the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic. That is one reason why he cares deeply about the direction our country is heading. In his view, politics should not be a power game, but a service to the people—carried out with humility, reason, and compassion.
