He is a production control programmer, senior PLC and visualization programmer, and project manager. He graduated from the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, with a degree in Instrumentation, Quality, and Automation. He entered politics in 2010 and became deputy mayor of Žďár nad Sázavou in 2014, successfully defending his position in 2018. He is responsible for education, sports, social affairs, and finance. In 2020, he was elected senator and representative of the Vysočina Region. He participates in many charitable events, including those supporting cancer patients. In the Senate, he serves on the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights, and Petitions, as well as on the Subcommittee on Sports. Social and economic issues are also close to his heart. Josef Klement has three adult children.
