Eva Rajchmanová

Member of the Senate

Eva Rajchmanová graduated from the Secondary School of Economics in Hodonín and the University of Economics in Bratislava. After completing her studies, she worked as an accountant, consultant, and economist at several companies in her region.

She entered local politics in 2002 as deputy mayor of Dolní Bojanovice. From 2014 to 2022, she served as mayor of this municipality and contributed to its long-term transformation, including the construction of apartments and bike paths, the development of land for housing and business, the renovation of the school and health center, and various environmental projects. Since 2022, she has been a councilor for the municipality of Dolní Bojanovice. She is also a member of the Community Planning of Social Services for the Hodonín Municipal District and a member of the MAS Jižní Slovácko committee.

In 2022, she was elected to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

In the Senate, she holds several positions, including Vice-Chair of the Committee on Regional Development, Public Administration, and the Environment, and Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Energy and Transport. She is also a member of several standing committees focused on issues related to the diaspora, rural development, and water and drought. In the Senate, she focuses on regional development (including in the areas of energy and transportation), support for affordable cooperative housing, support for families and the related availability of social services, and environmental protection.

In addition to politics, she is actively involved in cultural and social activities. She is a member of the St. Wenceslas Choir and Orchestra, an honorary member of the Dolní Bojanovice Volunteer Fire Department, and participates in community events.

She is married, has four children, and two grandchildren.
