She graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy at the University of Agriculture in Brno, where she earned a master’s degree. After completing her studies, she worked in the environmental sector. Starting in 2001, she also served as an inspector with the Czech Environmental Inspectorate in Brno. She became involved in politics in the 1990s, when she was elected to the Boskovice municipal council. From 2002 to 2016, she also served as deputy mayor, and in 2012 she was elected to the South Moravian Regional Council. Since 2016, she has served in the Senate, where she is a member of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights, and Petitions.
